Since opening its doors in 1925, The Pompadour has gained a reputation as one of the capitals most magnificent dining rooms. Taking its name from the celebrated Madame de Pompadour, the 'favourite mistress' of King Louis XV of France, Edinburgh's Secret Restaurant features exquisite hand-painted wall panels and vintage chandeliers.

The award-winning Head Chef Dan Ashmore brings his creativity and passion to each dish and works with the best available local produce. Delight in the à la carte or a 7-course secret tasting menu featuring the highest quality British ingredients, made with chef's creative flair.
