The Pompadour

Three Rosettes - 2013-2018
Scottish Hotel Awards 2019 - Fine Dining Restaurant Hotel of the Year
The Food Awards Scotland 2017 - Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year

Originally named The Pompadour Restaurant, this elegant restaurant first opened in 1925 at the heyday of Victorian railway travel to serve the rich and famous of the time, for which The Caledonian was the hotel of choice in Scotland.

Having been restored to its former splendour, the Pompadour continues its tradition of excellence under the guidance of our Head Chef Daniel Ashmore.

Our Head Chef works closely with local producers and features seasonal British ingredients. Let yourself be surprised by our 8-course tasting menu changing according to the season and the product availability. Appreciate the specially selected collection of wines that has been created by the highly experienced sommelier to complement each of the dishes.

The hospitable, professional, and knowledgeable team at The Pompadour welcomes guests and attends to their needs, making the dining experience an enjoyable and memorable one.
