A place to see and be seen in. A grand tradition in the Waldorf Astoria history, Peacock Alley combines style, luxury and unparalleled service to deliver extraordinary experiences. Be spoiled for choice with exquisite all-day tea and coffee service and savor an indulgent selection of tempting sweets.

The smart menu at Peacock Alley offers a variety of simple, delicious dishes and wholesome comfort food, like sandwiches, soups or salads - perfect for a bountiful breakfast or a leisurely lunch with friends. In the evening, sip premium wines in the opulent surroundings of this destination lounge, which features an impressive split-level layout that draws your focus to the lobby bar's long, elegant windows and out towards stunning views of the garden.

Afternoon Tea

The Peacock Alley in the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam presents a contemporary Afternoon Tea. Peacock Alley is centrally located in the heart of the lobby, overlooking our sumptuous private courtyard. One can treasure time together while sipping on teas that are thoughtfully chosen by our very own tea maker. Our executive chef Sidney Schutte, former chef of three star Michelin restaurant "De Librije", has created a selection of classical favourites with a "Librije" touch. Indulge in a "kiss from Thérèse", tonka bean flavoured macaroons and a new take on the "Waldorf salad". These delights in combination with the teas are a treat for the palate. To end the afternoon in style, a glass of champagne will make it a true celebration.

We welcome you daily from 15.00 P.M. until 17.00 P.M.
