Named the 'Best Restaurant in Rome', La Pergola provides a memorable dining experience on every occasion.
La Pergola is Rome's ultimate restaurant, and has three Michelin® stars to prove it. Under the direction of the celebrated Chef Heinz Beck, the famous menu is accentuated with a wine list that comes from a cellar with over 60,000 world-class bottles, a water list featuring 29 choices, authentic Italian oil and balsamic vinegar from the best local producers and the finest Mediterranean-sourced produce. Every moment at La Pergola is special, from the vermeil plates and cutlery lining your table, to the charming art masterpieces that adorn the walls. Dine on innovative and exciting cuisine, surrounded by classic pieces such as a rare Aubusson tapestry, 18th century bronze candelabra, Sèvres porcelain and a stunning set of hand-blown glass by Emile Gallé. Appreciate the classic beauty outside as well as in, as this exquisite restaurant offers unparalleled views across the Eternal City.
On summer evenings, dining is offered on the candlelit terrace, where you can marvel at the breathtaking views as the soft Italian breeze flutters. Adjacent to La Pergola is the decadent Cigar Lounge. Sip on the finest liqueur or a vintage wine from as early as 1888 as you enjoy a smooth cigar in this luxurious area featuring a beautiful collection of orientalist paintings. Voted the 'Best Restaurant of Rome', by major Italian gastronomic guides such as Gambero Rosso, La Pergola provides a memorable dining experience of world-class standards.

Executive Chef at La Pergola since 1994, Heinz Beck has been the recipient of numerous awards for outstanding achievement throughout a long and prestigious career. The menu at La Pergola is his greatest achievement to date - innovative and exciting while maintaining a respect for culinary tradition and remembering that great cooking is about fresh ingredients handled with sensitivity and passion. 'I want', Beck says, 'to transmit emotions through a balance of aromas, flavors and colors'. Like the Rome Cavalieri and La Pergola, Heinz is very much a part of Roman culture and society. In 2000 he was presented with the Gold Medal of the Foyer of Artists Award, an International Honor from La Sapienza University of Rome. It was the first time that the award was given to a chef.
La Pergola Wine Cellars
Winner of the "Grand Award" from the Wine Spectator since 2004, over 60,000 bottles, about 3,500 labels, a cellar divided into a number of individually air-conditioned areas, a collection on a vast scale, wines from 1888 to the present day, cult wines: these are just some of the factors that make the cellar of La Pergola unique. It has received recognition worldwide, thanks to its "curator" Marco Reitano who has been awarded the Oscar del Vino, as the best Italian sommelier: his wine cellar is a masterpiece of absolute excellence which is not to be missed.
